Madison Russo, LMHCA

Hello! My name is Madison and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA, License #MC.61687413) located in Washington State. I primarily work with both adults and teens via telehealth and my approach is grounded in Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based theories.

I have a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from St Bonaventure University and Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Criminology from Florida State University.

In my free time, I love spending time with my partner and our dog, Gio, baking sweet treats, painting, and watching my favorite comfort show.

My first golden connections

A friendly golden retriever puppy with a blue harness standing on a stone border in a lush garden with vibrant green plants and colorful flowers, under a bright blue sky with some clouds.
A happy dog with yellow plush bunny ears headband standing on grass in a backyard, with patio furniture and potted plants in the background, under sunny weather.
Golden retriever lying on wooden stairs leading to a beach with sand and grass, looking at the camera and panting, with the ocean and between cloud and sky in the background.

The name Golden Connections was inspired by the golden retrievers who have been a constant source of love and comfort throughout my life. Growing up with two golden retrievers and now sharing my life with another, I've experienced firsthand the unwavering loyalty, compassion, and sense of safety that dogs can provide. In my practice, I hope to provide my clients that same sense of safety, comfort, and empathy.
